Audiences across the globe are learning all about shelters in the U.K. that are in need of support during the first ever West End Woofs, a virtual adoption event, which is the U.K. installment of Broadway Barks. Hosted by Barks co-founder Bernadette Peters and Elaine Paige, the show features a slew of stars from the stage and screen, including Twiggy, Michael Ball, Maria Friedman, John Barrowman and more. Airing exclusively on Broadway.com and our YouTube channel on November 9 at 2PM ET (7PM GMT), West End Woofs will surely have you feeling some puppy love. Tune in by watching below!

Jacqueline Jossa, Matt Jay-Willis & More Join Brian Conley in the West End's A Christmas Carol

London audiences will be having a merry little Christmas with this cast. As previously reported, Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent's A Christmas Carol is coming back to the stage. Olivier nominee Brian Conley will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in this staged concert at the West End's Dominion Theatre, running from December 7, 2020 to January 2, 2021. Shaun Kerrison will direct a cast that also includes Eastenders star Jacqueline Jossa in her West End debut as Emily/The Ghost of Christmas Future and Matt Jay-Willis as Bob Cratchit.

The company will also feature Lucie Jones as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Sandra Marvin as Mrs. Fezziwig, Martyn Ellis as Mr. Fezziwig, Cedric Neal as The Ghost of Christmas Present, Jeremy Secomb as Jacob Marley, Rebecca Lock as Mrs. Cratchit and Sam Oladeinde as Fred Anderson/Young Scrooge.

Based on the Charles Dickens classic, this A Christmas Carol first premiered in 1994 at New York’s Paramount Theatre and ran for a decade at Madison Square Garden. COVID-19 safety measures and social distancing will be in place front of house, on stage, backstage and throughout the Dominion Theatre. Songs For a New World, Starring Rachel Tucker & More, to Play the West End's Vaudeville Theatre

Jason Robert Brown’s Songs For a New World will transfer to the Vaudeville Theatre. The show, which was made available virtually in July, will begin performances on February 5, 2021 with opening night set for February 9. The production played the London Palladium in early October, where it was the first new musical to be staged in the West End since the COVID-19 pandemic. This limited engagement is scheduled to run through March 7.

Directed by Séimí Campbell, the company includes Rachel Tucker, David Hunter, Rachel John, Cedric Neal and Shem Omari James, who are all reprising their roles from the London Palladium production. Songs For a New World features musical direction by Josh Winstone, musical supervision by Adam Hoskins, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Jonny Dickie of Robins Audio and design consultancy by Madeleine Girling.
