Education, Tommy, & The Wizard of Oz:
Rachel trained at the Royal Academy of Music. - She worked with Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead in the 2005 UK Tour of Tommy as Sally Simpson. She appeared as Dorothy Gale in the Royal Shakespeare Company's adaptation of The Wizard of Oz in December 2007.
I'd Do Anything:
Rachel was chosen to participate as one of the twelve finalists in the show 'I'd Do Anything', in which she came 4th place, after being Eliminated on the Semi-Final (Week 9).
Love Never Dies & We Will Rock You:
Rachel took part in a private workshop for Love Never Dies, as the role of Meg Giry at Andrew Lloyd Webber's private Sydmonton Festival.
From September 2008, for one year, Rachel played Meat in We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, London.
Wicked:
On 29th March 2010, Rachel took over the role of Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, in which she held the position as Elphaba until 27th October 2012, surpassing as the longest-running West End Elphaba.
On 15th September 2015, Rachel took over the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre, in which she held the position as Elphaba until 30th July 2016.
On 5th September 2016, Rachel returned to the role of Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, in which she held the position as Elphaba until 28th January 2017.
Come From Away:
From February 2019, Rachel would be playing the role of Beverley/Annette and others in the West End production of Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre. She held the position until 8th February 2020. - It was then announced that she would be taking over the role of Beverley/Annette and others in the Broadway production of Come From Away at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre from 3rd March 2020 onwards.
